Posie's Recovery from Illness with Nutrition Response Testing

Posie's Brave Battle 

When Posie was just 2 years old she developed bleeding in her GI tract. She went from seeming fine one day to vomiting bloody fluid and having bloody diarrhea the next day. I contacted the local veterinarian and they wanted to do some tests on her. They discovered her blood platelets were critically low and they wanted to put her on steroids,  meds to stop diarrhea, and a stomach-protecting med to protect her digestive tract from negative effects from the steroids. 

With my holistic practice of 10 years, I, of course, immediately went to work to find a natural solution. The Vet believed Posie had an autoimmune reaction possibly from stress, and I also discovered a fairly large wood tick hidden in her beard. So the idea of a tick infection was considered, but the cause was never fully determined. I contacted a Holistic Veterinarian remotely and partnered with her to guide me in caring for Posie.

I initially, had to give Posie the steroids to prevent the platelets from dropping even more or she could have needed a transfusion. I also initially used the medication to slow diarrhea to get Posie out of a place of crisis. I tested Posie daily with Nutrition Response Testing/Quantum Nutrition Testing and got her on a very diverse program to cover the issues she was dealing with. I sent a picture of her to the Holistic Vet and a video as she wanted to see how Posie was looking and acting. The Holistic Vet was surprised she looked so healthy and energized. Posie still wanted to take her daily walks even though she was weak and had serious concerns. 

Healing Through Nourishment and Love 

An amazing transformation occurred. As Posie continued to take her whole food supplements she improved quickly. I also changed her diet from dry kibble, even though it was grain free, to making her real food such as grass-fed beef, organic vegetables, and some potato. She was able to get off the steroids within 6 weeks. Much sooner than the local vet prescribed. Her diarrhea cleared up quickly and I used whole food supplements to protect and heal her GI Tract so I never used the prescribed med for that. The local vet suggested Posie may need to take prescription meds for life to manage the auto-immune response. Of course, I said, "No Way!" 

Within a couple months, Posie was back to normal and has been totally healthy ever since. That was 2 years ago. 

What I did discover with Quantum Nutrition Testing is the auto-immune trigger was influenced by vaccine damage to the immune system from the vaccinations required by state law for our pets. Posie received the minimum vaccines that are actually legally required but they still affect our pet's health dramatically. Itching skin, digestive problems, allergies, and many other health concerns are all influenced by vaccine usage. Our pets have become subject to pharmaceutical use, a life of health problems, and the side effects that come from pharmaceuticals. There is a better way.
